Nature photography from a woman in the woods

The “Idea” of a Wintry Sunset . . .

The whiteness of the snow everywhere makes even the subtle colors in a cold sunset appear extra special. Here is a glimpse of my drive home on Wednesday night after school.Ā  I am attracted to the silhouette effects during sunset and the amazing twists of light the clouds seem to finagle out of the sun.

The word “finagle” is fun, too. šŸ˜‰

    • Actually, that day was a warm one … about 10 degrees when I took that picture. An above zero day! It is amazing how 10 degrees can feel like a heat wave. šŸ˜‰
